We're watching Josh [David's nephew] this weekend and today he had a half-day so I went to pick him up at school. On the way I passed 5 WRECKS! 5! [It's a 30 minute drive that took an hour due to the wrecks--eeek] They had to all happen around the same time. I'm like, What in the WORLD!? I mean, how does that even happen. All within 5-7 miles of each other. All on the side of the highway I was driving on.
So then I started to freak and think, "What if the rapture happened and Jesus forgot me?!?!?"
And then I called my Mom.
Thankfully, She answered.
'Cause I know that if Jesus came back, he'd definitely take her.
Jesus,
Please don't forget me.

That is probably the funniest thing I have read all day.
That is a lot of wrecks!
Dang, that's a lot of wrecks!
I hear ya girl...when I was little...I had 3-4 rapture moments a week!!! My brother and I still speak of trauma. :0)
Hahaha! I'd call my mom too because she would be the first one in heaven. hehe :)
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA totally something I would have thought.
your thought cracked me up, we would have totoally said the same thing about Hubby's Grandma, haaa!
Lol I feel the same way about my mom.
oh man i've done that...it is especially scary when you call all the folks you KNOW won't be forgotten and they don't answer!!! that is the worst...
but on the wrecks...when we lived in washington state that kind of thing happened on the first really sunny day of the spring/summer season because after months and months of rain and grey skies folks would forget how to drive when the sun shines...it is actually quite humors (obviously not for their safety sake), but just that it is seriously one right after another the whole way down the i-5
Five wrecks? I bet they were all on their cell phones.
AWWW! That would be scary! How cute you called your Mom! I probably would have done the same thing...
Wow.. 5 wrecks! I hate car accidents! I've had a few too many myself! And I can see how that would be scary if I believed in the rapture! Makes me rather glad I don't! Drive safe girl!
It sure is SCARY isn't it! I had a similar experiance about 1 month ago. I put my 12 yr old daughter to bed upstairs and I came back down stairs and sat on the couch on the laptop then I went to bed a few hours later (upstairs) and checked in on her. Well she wasn't there...immediatly I thought OH NO the rapture happened and I've been left behind....SCARY!!!!!!!!!! Long story short, she somehow ended up in her sister's bed downstairs. Wierd thing is she would have had to walk past me and I never once heard or saw her walk by.
He he he... that's pretty funny. Not the wrecks, but thinking Jesus forgot you. I'm pretty sure He's got it under control. LOL
