Whitney, one of my favorite bloggers, posted today about how she almost died. Upon reading her story of how she has (and had eaten some of) the yummy peanut butter crackers that are being recalled due to salmonella poisoning..I realized something.
I could have killed my husband.
Being the sweet woman that I am I did a little grocery shopping last week specifically for David's trip this week. ((He's been gone since Sunday, returns tonight--training for work)) and I got him those EXACT crackers. TWO packs of the toasted peanut butter crackers.
As soon as I was done reading Whitney's post I grabbed the phone and texted Dave, "DO NOT EAT CRACKERS-SALMONELLA!!" I should have not freaked and actually written a sentence, but i'm sure he got the point. He then called and asked "what crackers?" ...so he hasn't learned to interperet MeganTalk, eh, he'll learn.
Turns out he's finished all the crackers..and asks if i'm trying to kill him. Not yet dear husband, not yet!

As a side note, I never want that last sentence coming up in court. It was a JOKE. J-O-K-E!!!

HAHAH! this was hilarious :) I don't eat those crackers very often but just so happens I had a whole 6 pack the other night (late night when I was starving!)
Glad he'll live another day!

hahahahaaaaaaa, oh man, I can't believe your husband AND me almost died. That would have been a tragic week!! Who knows what else is hiding in our pantry waiting to slowly poison us. Duh, duh, duuuuhhhh!

I laughed so hard when I read her post - I have the cracker in my house too!
Small world!! Too funny. Well, thanks for saying hey! I am actually back working at LU now with Bryan for the Washington Semester. It is no longer through SPI. I enjoyed living in DC and might eventually move back. I'll be here at least another year or so. So neat that you met your husband up there! You should share your story on your blog -- unless you already have?
Have a great day!
Geez-poisoned crackers...what's next??
Love the side note; we will be sure to testify it was all in good blog fun!

Bwahaha! I love the little disclainer/sidenote at the bottom.

Narrow escape there!
I hope they haven't exported the crackers to France!
