The Good Stuff

Things I won't miss:
I wont have to take the metro to work.
No more getting squished.
Paying too much for lunch
Or ruining my favorite heels.

& the best part..no more sleeping alone! :D

Dearest DC,
We have had a lot of fun together, but it's time we part. I am hoping that Friday comes quickly because I am very excited to start this new chapter of my life. I will miss your beautiful buildings, but I have taken many pictures to remember you by. I promise I will come and visit. Afterall, you are the place I will always remember falling in love. I came here hoping for endless opportunities, and you have opened your doors widely. I leave with an amazing career and many new friends. Thank you for showing me all of these things.
Love,
Megan

I always dreamed of taking a train/metro to work... and wearing professional clothes and walking a few blocks to my office!

But I wouldn't trade it for my life now... and I am happy for you that you are o.k. letting it all go, too. :) :)

Yay for Friday being just a few days away!!

New chapters in life are pretty bittersweet. You are excited for the new, but sweetly missing the past. I am glad you had such a great time there. Good luck with all that lies ahead! :)

Thanks for visiting my blog. No, I didn't have my picture taken with Elvis - should have. Maybe next time. Elvis is my all time favorite singer. Of course I was a teenager when he became famous. I had the privilege of going to one of his concerts in Long Beach in 1956.

I'm pretty dang ready to leave this place too. You've accomplished my dream life in like...a couple months! Working from home - man, I was thinking about you battling traffic this morning. I would ride the metro but I need to build up my immune system first!

Oh, and no more heel for me! You should be fine though cause you'll wear them out to eat and stuff with your honey instead of to the office all day!

Oh, and Richmond is fun, a little bit slower paced, and a lot cheaper! That's sooooo great! Especially since you have the same job and salary! WooHoo!

You guys are so cute! Are you married? I'm a bit behind, sorry.
So, if I got it straght, you left DC with this guy to live in a small town? Right? I'm just trying to know if I got everything right.
And I wanted to say that you guys are TOO CUTE!
I would love to leave LA for a smaller town, I'm envious

I would do anything to live in a city with a decent metro. Sigh. I live in Baltimore.
