Men, you probably don't want to read this!

You're probably thinking, "What the heck is that?!?"
Well friends, THAT is my NEW BEST FRIEND!
It's called a "Diva-Cup"
It is used in place of tampons.
(
Saves money, economically friendly)

You can reuse it over and over. I used mine this whole week during my period & it was so greaaat. No leaks, spills, or anything of that sort! You can't feel it, so it doesn't "hurt"--It took a day to get used to, but I will never go back to tampons. The best part is, that it can be left in for 12 hours! You can even sleep with it in. So, basically you empty it in the morning & night--and waalah, no remembering to change the tampon every 4 hours.

You should REALLY get one of these!

I read about those on a website I frequent called Frugal Village. I might have to try one, it does sound interesting. It sure beats soaking through a tampax and a pad during the night and ending up soaking onto the bed before you wake up and realize it. Interesting.......

Wow. I've never heard of that. I know how happy I was when I discovered tampons. I never went back to the old fashioned pads. Now I haven't had to worry about it for about 20 years. One of the few things good about being older.

Wow, figures something like that would come out when I don't get my period anymore..lol. Oh well, I love no more cramps or bloating...yippee. Just don't like the hot flashes!

Oh wow. I'm not even sure what to say! I can't lie it's a wee bit scary, but I do love saving money!!!

I love Brad Paisley too ;) I'm seriously excited.

And, I use my boyfriend's toothbrush all the time.

Uhm, that just looks too weird. And you have to clean it? No thanks. While I'm still getting my period I'll stick with 'disposible' tampons, but thanks for sharing.

Where in THE WORLD does one find one of these contraptions? What a fascinating piece of machinery! I am still perplexed as to how it works, but intend to do some googling! Thanks for the tip off!

I've been using a Diva Cup for 3 months now and just love it! It's better than tampoms or pads and works great for me. I got mine at South Coast Shopping for $15.99 and $4.99 shipping. It was the best price I found and got it in two days. No more tampoms!!!

Sorry to be in the minority here but I used something like that last year and it was NOT something I would do again. I mean, I'm not even creeped out about all things vagina, being a future nurse 'n all but it wasn't right. It just wasn't.

Hey, whatever works for you ;-)

They had something just like this in the 70's called a moon cup(shut up, you're not supposed to know I was born in '81) anyway, I tried one last year and it was terribly messy and I could totally feel it in me. Threw it out after 3 days.
