Question 1 looks something like this:
What does this sign mean:
1. drive with caution.
2. stop if necessary.
3. you must come to a complete stop.
4. slow down.
2. stop if necessary.
3. you must come to a complete stop.
4. slow down.
My thoughts:
"Oh man, this is the first question and I don't want to miss it. I know it is a stop sign, but if you HAD to stop then it would have the word "STOP" on it. This is a tricky test, just like so-and-so told me. Okay, i'm going to go with number 2."
WRONG.
The computer screen then nicely tells me that I have to wait a week and try to take the test again.
And I cried.

Many, many years ago when I got my permit, it was through my high school driver's ed course. We were lucky, they just gave it to you because you were in the class.
I failed my permit test 3 times!
Hehehe. Poor Megan! Yeah, wanna know what I did? I got a stupid answer wrong because I guessed the farthest distance you had to be behind an ambulance. And I got it wrong. Seems you are counted wrong if you are TOO safe! Gotta love the DMV!!
If it makes you feel any better, I flew through that test w/ flying colors and FAILED the driving portion. Twice. Wow... I scared the testgiver so bad. And myself. It took me years to recover. :) So I guess what I'm trying to say is dont worry about it, all that counts is the actual driving part. :)
Great story!! I have to change my registration from Missouri to Illinois soon, and I'm terrified b/c I have to take another test!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today :)
