Pretty Things..

Since I probably had a TMI post earlier
I thought I'd take another stab at blogging today..

You see, I am one of those TERRIBLE gift givers. Meaning, I always spoil the surprise. My mother LOVES Thomas Kinkade. (almost as much as I love sex...whaaa?) So, I was online browsing all of the wonderful things I could get her for Christmas (I know it isn't even cold out yet, but I love buying things for people) and stumbled upon this:

A Thomas Kinkade Welcome Flag

I know she loves his work so much I couldn't make her wait until Christmas to get it. So I called her and told her I was sending her something, but I wasn't going to tell her what it was! Before I got off the phone, she knew what she was getting and when it should arrive. Arrrgh.

One day I will keep a birthday/Christmas/special occasion gift a secret!

Ha! Your sense of humor is so similar to mine, it's almost scary.

I'm that way too with presents, I want to tell people so bad that I hint around about it just because I want them to love the gift so much.

Ahhh... I have that problem, too. But not because I'm excited -- because I seriously FORGET that it's a secret. Like Tommy's surprise party. Wed PM I said to him "they will meet tomorrow night." He said "what is tomorrow night?!" Haha.... oopsie.

LOL how did she know? Intuition?

I am flying my hubby's bf that he hasn't seen in 13 years in next month for his 40th bday...after the rash of shxx I gave his friend about not spoiling it I in a regular conversation was talking about plane ticket (I have no idea how it slipped) and he found out dumb me!

It's sad, but I'm the exact same way. Why do you think I wait to do my xmas/birthday shopping until just a few days before???

Glad your mom will like her flag! :)
